This website is safe to use and interact with. It is privately administered from the UK, while the content is our own, speaking to you from The United Nations Refugee Camp in Kakuma, Kenya. (UNHCR)

We are reluctantly asking for your help.

We fled from our home countries in fear for our lives, seeking sanctuary from the United Nations. We are a group of 9 gay men and 5 Lesbians, 4 of whom are the respective mothers to 7 children.

Please read how being trapped in this horrible camp is impacting our health and well-being.

Protus and Campos

Our website content coordinators, Wambewo Protus (we call him Protus) or Campos will respond back to you as soon as they can, WiFi permitting.

(None of us own a laptop. We rely on our mobile phones to communicate, and only have six between us. Solar powers our lighting and ‘phone chargers, so if the sun hasn’t shone, our reply may be delayed.)

Or you can contact our admin, Mr Robert (in the UK), admin@lgbtq-kakuma.com who will pass your message to us.

It is safe to send us a message. Sent direct to Protus or Campos here in Block 12, Kakuma Refugee Camp.
